WORKSHOPS

Kalem Project conducts creative writing workshops for refugee children ages 9 to 17.  Our first U.S. workshop, done in partnership with Miry's List, was held online in 2023.  In 2024, we hosted in-person workshops in Istanbul. These were organized through direct outreach to refugee communities and local schools. 

In addition to workshops, Kalem Project has hosted writing contests and hopes to publish an anthology of work submitted by refugee children.
